This black pencil dress with a V-neck and ruffle – Clarissa By Małgorzata – is our own original design, created and made in our studio. It is available exclusively from our shop. The fitted silhouette and cascading ruffle create an elegant ensemble perfect for a formal dinner, a St Andrew’s Day party or a festive corporate banquet.
The V-neckline with a subtle mesh insert highlights the collarbones, whilst the sleeveless cut reveals the shoulders. The draping around the waist and tummy softens the silhouette’s contours whilst maintaining the dress’s fitted line. The pencil-skirted hem accentuates the hips, whilst the ruffle cascading down the side adds a touch of lightness to the silhouette. The covered back balances out the deeper neckline, and the zip at the back makes it easy to put on.
Clarissa is a little black dress whose appeal lies in its cut alone. For an elegant occasion, all you need are high heels, earrings and a plain clutch bag.
